In a world where giant mechs known as Gundams have become a norm, Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative brings to life an action-packed story that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Reviewed by ycqzbi 1/10, this movie is one of the most disappointing Gundams I've seen in a while.

The story takes place one year after the events of Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn and the Laplace's Box was opened. The RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex, thought to be lost since two years ago, has reappeared. However, sightings of another Gundam are suddenly being reported. Both the Banshee and Unicorn Gundam are sealed away from public consciousness, locked in secrecy and meant to be forgotten by history.

Following the conflict known as the 'Laplace Incident', the Neo Zeon remnant force known as the Sleeves is destroyed. The story then shifts to focus on a group of characters who live out their roles as if it's real life. The director, Shunichi Yoshizawa, has done an excellent job in setting the accents in all the right places.

The movie is well-crafted with a perfect blend of action, animation, drama, and science fiction. For 88 minutes, you won't find a minute that will be wasted watching it. Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative is a flawless and tasteful cinematography for the demanding viewer.

However, the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03, which disappeared two years earlier, is now about to show itself in the Earth Sphere once more. The white unicorn and the black lion were sealed away to remove this danger from people's consciousness, and they should now be completely forgotten. In its final battle, two full psycho-frame mobile suits displayed power beyond human understanding.

The conflict later dubbed the 'Laplace Incident' is thought to have ended with the downfall of the Neo Zeon remnants known as the Sleeves. Despite the revelation of the Universal Century Charter that acknowledges the existence and rights of Newtypes, the framework of the world has not been greatly altered.
